dc.description.abstractThis is a report by Puan Jariah Jais, Librarian at the Malaysia Agriculture Research and Development Institute who attended the Global 2000 Worldwide Conference on Special Librarianship held on 16 - 19 October 2000 at Brighton United Kingdom. The theme of the conference is The Information Age : Challenges and Opportunities. A total number of 600 participants from 53 countries attended the conference. Puan Jariah was sponsored by the Special Libraries Association, Unites States of America. A separate program was held for Special Libraries Association fellowship participants and also involving librarians from developing countries.en_US
